Event Report
Bruce Westlake, President, Michigan Electric Vehicle Association, moderated a panel discussion of long-term EV enthusiasts and experts. An audience of 38 was on hand and engaged in a lively Q&A after the panel. Then everyone went out to the library parking lot, admired the cars, took rides, and drove a few.

Event Description
This event is at the LEED-certified Hastings Public Library and hosted by library staff and KEVA , a local group who receives sponsorship from the Southwest Michigan Group of the Sierra Club, Nissan, the Electric Auto Association and Plug in America . Among the core value of KEVA is that real-life owners of electric vehicles are the best ambassadors of the electric car experience and benefits.
Hastings is a good mid point for EV owners. This event will be offering an EV panel of DIY and industry builders, real-world drivers, as well as distance travelers. This event is searching for someone with cross country road experience to sit in the panel.
