In celebration of National Drive Electric Week (September 8-16), Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) in partnership with the Town of Danvers Electric Division and Wakefield Municipal Gas and Light Department, invites customers to attend a free Plug-in Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive event on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at RMLD’s offices located at 230 Ash Street, Reading. Attendees are invited to view and test drive (or ride) an assortment of plug-in vehicles from local automobile dealers. Information about charging stations, electric vehicle incentive programs, and rebate programs will also be available. Local electric vehicle owners will also be in attendance to offer insider reviews and commentary.
