Since 2019, Chatham Borough EC has offered a free annual community event (twice in partnership with New Jersey EVA) featuring local dealers showing new EV models. Local EV owners participate in National Drive Electric Week by bringing their own Plug-in vehicles to the event to show to non-EV guests.  Drivers are encouraged to stay with the vehicle, talk to visitors and share experience of driving electric, the factors influencing the decision to buy one, and road trip stories. Local dealers are on hand to show off the features of the latest models and to discuss the purchase and maintenance costs, current incentives and tax credits. 

The EXPO runs alongside the annual Sustainability Fair featuring 25 tables of local green vendors focusing on native plants, sustainable household practices, recycling, composting, green lawn care, solar and alternative home energy. 

The location features live music, food trucks, ample parking, bathrooms, and the weekly farmers market.
