The Township of Scotch Plains will host its annual Scotch Plains Day Fall Family Festival on Sunday, October 7 from 12-5 p.m. in the downtown district on Park Avenue. Scotch Plains Day is an event that is fun for all ages from kids to adults.
We want YOUR EV at what we expect to be a great EVent!
The location for the show has changed up a bit. We will have all vehicles displayed in the main lot of the Municipal Building and on the street surrounding the grassy area known as the Hedge Property where the Township's Electronic sign is placed. Please plan to arrive between 11am and 11:30am to check in and be shown to your spot. You can enter the lot via the intersection of East Second Street and Senger Place. If we need to cancel for any reason, updates will be posted here and we will do our best to notify participants via the emails provided to this website.
There will be thousands of people, food, fun and now we need a BUNCH of EVs. They're expecting us! There will also be Food Trucks, Family Entertainment, Interactive Inflatables, Local Community Organizations, and more!
The Mayor and Township of Scotch Plains are just beginning to get the hang of electric vehicles but they are onboard with the idea so let's show them how great they are!
Help us out by bringing your Tesla, LEAF, Bolt, i3, Volt, EV conversion, Prius plug-in or whatever you've got...as long as it can plug in...it can be part of the show!
Please tell your long-range EV driving friends to come, you know they're just looking for a reason to drive someplace. NY, PA...wherever, just invite them!
This year will be our first event with a display of electric vehicles and to be sure, the more, the merrier!
