The NYC Clean School Bus Coalition Presents: A rally to demand that NYC Council bring Intro 455 to a vote.
Intro 455 is a pivotal bill in ensuring that all dirty diesel school buses will be phased out by 2040 and replaced with electric school buses. This legislation is supported by parents, students, school bus workers, EJ communities, and several NYC community-based organizations. This bill has aged twice and can now be brought to a vote, but the city council still stalls its passing.
Join us on the sidewalk in front of Tweed Court House in NYC to demand that NYC commit to electric school buses and bring Intro 455 to vote! This rally will feature testimonies from community members, parents, coalition members, and NYC Council members.
