At 10 am, Tracey McFadden, President of FVEAA, will explore the technology behind electric vehicles, costs to operate, what it’s like to own one, and what the road ahead looks like for EVs. Whether you're a dedicated EV fan or simply curious, this session offers practical insights and firsthand experiences from everyday electric drivers.

The Fox Valley Electric Auto Association (FVEAA), founded in 1975 and incorporated in Illinois in 1979, became a chapter of the Electric Auto Association in 2004. They promote clean, efficient electric vehicle use and support members in transitioning to EV ownership through education and outreach.

The presentation is followed by an EV Car Show in the Algonquin Main library parking lot, 11 am - 3 pm.
