Driving an electric vehicle is convenient, less expensive than driving a gas car, and fun! In the last year, EV ownership in our area has grown. Why? We can think of a few reasons:
  • Less maintenance
  • High torque performance
  • Quieter and cleaner transportations
  • Federal incentives
Whether you already own an EV and want to share the love or you are EV curious and want a change to talk to real, local drivers, this event is for you! There will also be information on Iowa City resources for EVs, including the locations or local charging stations, incentives from MidAmerican for EV purchases, and more!

Activities
  • Check out electric vehicles- cars, trucks, SUVs, e-bikes, and Iowa City electric bus
  • Talk to EV owners
  • Learn about incentives, benefits, and EV resources
  • Grab some EV goodies provided by NDEW and Iowa City's Climate Action Division
