EV owners are invited to bring their EVs and share their ownership experiences with visitors. For visitors, this is your chance to cut through all the hype and misinformation about EVs. Talk to actual EV owners and get the real story on what EV ownership is like. Look at and test drive EVs without the distraction of sales room pressure. Get informed before federal tax credits expire at the end of September!
Self-Help Credit Union and Mid-Columbia Electric Vehicle Association will have booths set up with experienced EV owners and informational handouts on the following subjects.
- Latest information on EV tax credits and incentives available at the federal, state and local levels.
- Overview of various makes and models of EVs currently available
- Basics of EV charging
- Current state of EV charging infrastructure
- Cost of EV ownership compared to conventional vehicles and the considerable cost savings that are achievable
- Financing options available through Self-Help Credit Union
Food will be available onsite, and visitors will have access to restrooms and drinking fountains.
