Motlow State Community College (MSCC) is excited to be in the electric vehicle (EV) showcasing space! We are thrilled to be hosting our second EV Ride & Drive EVent on August 26 & 27 as part of Welcome Week, and we invite students, staff, and faculty of MSCC as well as the nearby community members to come join us, ask questions, and take a spin in one of the variety of EVs that we will have onsite this day! There will be a number of different EVs there, and we have right at our campus both DC fast chargers and Level 2 chargers to show anyone how EVs plug in... as well as to charge your EV!

We also have several initiatives and partnerships that are focused on expanding our classes and learning opportunities that are related to EVs, including workforce development! We recently announced a $5 million expansion of Motlow State’s Automation and Robotics Training Center in McMinnville, and the new facilities will underpin training in electric vehicle technology, Mechatronix, and cybersecurity. So welcome to campus, and come learn about what is going on with EVs at MSCC on August 26 & 27!
