GPCOG and Calstart invite you to display your vehicles at the Maine Municipal Association Conference this October. This is the largest gathering of municipal staff in Maine, and will gather over 700 town managers, fleet directors, and municipal decision-makers from across the state. The ride & drive event will be advertised in a brief keynote address, as well as in the conference agenda booklet and in large printed format in the conference hall.

We encourage you to bring light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electric trucks, including/especially municipal use vehicles such as school buses, trash trucks, heavy-duty lawn mowers, etc.

In addition to the ride & drive portion of the event, there will also be an exhibit area for partners to help educate and engage with potential buyers. Participating OEMs and fleet operators will be required to transport their vehicles to the venue on October 7, 2025 (the day before the event).

FAQs

Will charging stations be available?

There are charging stations at the Cross Insurance Center.

Will there be food available?

Vendors will be able to partake in the conference-provided lunch.

Will there be media at the event?

We are planning to invite media and will put out a press release following the event that will feature OEMs and their vehicles. We encourage vehicle providers to take their own photos and videos and will share and boost any resulting content from our channels.

What time is load-in?

All vehicles must arrive to the venue on October 7. More details about timing to come. Vehicle providers bringing booths should plan to arrive to the venue by 8:30 a.m. on October 8 to set up booths before the event begins at 9 a.m.

What time is load-out?

Load out for vehicles will begin as soon as event guests have safely cleared the area, no earlier than 2:00 p.m. October 9.

Do I need to register as a vendor through the Maine Municipal Association conference?

Registering through this page will confirm your attendance and reserve your vendor space. We will follow up with registered vehicle providers if this changes.

What do I need to bring?

At least one electric vehicle! If you want to bring a booth to advertise your company, please bring a table, popup tent,  and all collateral materials. Booths will require two representatives so that one person can facilitate ride & drives with your vehicle(s) and the other can host the booth.

If I want to bring a vehicle do I have to also have a booth?

We encourage vehicle providers to bring a booth to take advantage of this marketing opportunity, but it is not currently required.
